Mallet Finger Splint is a very simple device, to maintain the distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint in the dorsi flexion position or functional position. The immobilization of these phalanges is important in managing the fractures, or disfunctionality of the DIP joint.It is available in universal size, It can be cut or bent to suit the individual patient needs.It helps in curing the mallet finger deformity, minor fractures of the distal phalanges and manages extensor tendon injury.It can be used as post surgical care and post fracture care in major fracture of the distal phalange.Use it under strict guidance of a qualified doctor. Discontinue use and seek guidance of a qualified doctor, in case of Impaired sensation ,Impaired blood flow, if pain increases or persists.
